Who are behind the conspiracy?

U Kyaw Sein is a retired officer of Education department. He suggested in this opinion to disclose the instigators of the violence who are manipulating the clashes from behind the curtain in Rakhine State.
The President Office of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued a statement No 1/ 2012 on Oct 25, 2012, regarding the conflict in Rakhine State which stated that persons and organisations are manipulating incidents in restive sate behind the scene. It was also announced that they will be exposed and legal actions will be taken against them.
Everybody knows that the chaos and conflict in Rakhine was ignited from a criminal incident that spread like wild fire into a large magnitude. It could be either termed as the conflict between the Rakhine nationals and the Muslims or between Buddhists and Islamic believers, but it brings death, damage and destruction to a large extent. The scale of violence is on the rise.
It started with a rape case in Yanbyre, which continued with the killing in Taunggup and escalated into many cases of murder and arson in Maungtaw in western Myanmar, eventually giving rise to a new term called Rohingya. Why this so called Rohingya people popped up at this time in Rakhine State. Is that a new breed of people born right now?
In the chronicle of Rakhine State, it is undeniable that the odd job labourers working in the farm called Bengali settled down there. As the grass is greener in Rakhine State, farm workers from east Bengal areas crossed over to Rakhine to settle down. The Bengalis spread out in villages and towns and lived peacefully along with Rakhine nationals. At that time the Bengalis have no knowledge of the breed called Rohingya.
It is undeniable that they are a race being unaware of coexistence though they have coexisted with others.
With the Muslim world developing, a handful of educated Muslims in Rakhine State have developed their ideologies highlighting their own race. The Bengalis whose economy is improving with the financial backing of wealthy Muslims from abroad are able to seek help from authorities in Myanmar. They could have influenced religious and social fields through their wealth. Both Rakhine and Muslims in Sittwe still remember that a retired army general, Khin Nyunt, once arrived in the city on a charter flight together with Burmese- Muslims.
There are also other events still remembered by those two races. Bengalis' mosques were ubiquitous in Rakhine State. They had existed more independently. At that time, the construction of churches was banned in Chin State in northern Myanmar. When the aggressiveness of Bengalis was armed with a political tool, the time had come for them to realise their dream on creating Rohingya.
With this intent, they created unrest and violence on the pretext of racial or religious issues in Maungdaw township, which had nothing to do with the problems in Yanbye and Taungup. (A local journal carried a news report that about 30 people including Muslim clerics from Yangon and foreign countries were in Butheetaung and Maundaw townships when violence occurred there and that they returned to the mainland only after the rioting.)
What was the legal action faced by those charged with conspiracy in the Rakhine conflicts for? Was it for human rights or Rohingya? They however have been granted pardon. But the problem has fuelled instead of being wiped out. Why is it so?
The spokesman from a registered political party in the country once said Rohingyas have existed in Rakhine State since ancient times and they used to have a radio broadcasting station.
What kind of person and what kind of the political party does not accept the decision of the President? Muslim businesspersons are still influential in Rakhine State. They are parliamentary representatives. They are striving for the rights of Rohingyas.
Rakhine people have been coexisting in harmony with Bengali Muslims for many years. There are no 'Rohingya' people in Rakhine state. It cannot be accepted the sudden emergence of these people. Those who are working for this racial group are the instigators of the riots, and they are manipulating the clashes from behind the curtain.
The so-called exiled senior Rohingyas and moulavi (cleric) extremists and dishonest businesspersons are not included in the list of dead or injured. They are just making their 'crazy dream' with others lives. They took advantage of human rights and religion.
Criminals are in the legal trial. The situation in Rakhine State is largely related with the people in the whole country. The matter concerning 'citizenship' and 'foreigner' directly relates with the sovereignty of a country.
The government should solve this problem. The parliament should take a 'clear stance' on the term of 'citizenship' and 'foreigner'. If the country had a clear and definite law, the government would be able to solve the problem of the Rohingyas. Only then can Rakhine clashes be solved automatically.
If the root causes and persons behind the violence in Rakhine State could be disclosed, the coexistence will appear among the different races.
However, these people have been physically and mentally injured. The situation is similar to that of an innocent person whose head was cut off like an animal. Many houses have been burned down to ashes. They have been without homes. Those homeless people could not answer the question 'what is Rohingya?' Moreover, both sides have been injured. The situation will not recover with remedies such as human rights and religious freedom. The root cause of the problem was the instigations of a certain group of fanatical educated persons who want to create a new 'human race', called "Rohingya".
